With over 35 years of experience in food safety, Mary, a Registered Dietician, has worked at The Magic Pan, The Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, and Michael’s, a fine dining restaurant in Santa Monica. As a food safety expert, she was contracted to audit all Starbucks in New York City, Hilton Hotels, NYU and PACE University food service facilities, TGI Friday’s and McDonalds. Mary created Safe and Sound Food Safety Consultants (SASFSC) as a part of RPDT, Inc., to provide restaurants with third-party food safety audits, plan check review and manage food certification training. In her role at Safe and Sound, Mary trains staff and management, writes HACCP plans, and is a certified TIPS Trainer focusing on safe alcohol training for restaurant managers and employees. Mary works to ensure safe food practices, clean kitchens and knowledgeable restaurant owners, managers and employees.
Mary’s credentials include: certified in HACCP, certified National ServSafe® Instructor, registered National ServSafe Proctor, registered International ServSafe® Instructor and Proctor, Member California Environmental Health Association, Member National Environmental Health Association, and Instructor at Los Angeles Trade Technical College.
